I am the last of my kind.

You stand within a group of thousands like yourself, all standing on the end of a city, the last large group of humans left alive. You along with the others stare in one direction, skyscrapers towered above them all as black clouds began to gather above the city. In the distance, miles away, walked two creatures, both the last of their kind. A proud dragon almost as tall as a skyscraper, midnight black in colour whilst a unicorn walked casaully beside him, her head high and her coat of white stood out against the massive black dragon. The humans watched as the last dragon and unicorn walked in peace, natural enemies forgot their hatred as they came to realise that they were the last. As the sun descended, a flash of green came across the horizan, the unicorn laughed aloud and the dragon roared, which the last humans could hear even from the distance between them and they disappeared, gone forever, there would never be another dragon or unicorn to live in the human's world again...

it made me think, maybe.. just maybe, they all disappeared together, all these mythical creatures that most of the world loves, left in the same time period. Leaving a last mark on the world, they would be put in the history books and would leave this world for their legend to grow into so many things.

I would like to put out there that it would be great if someone or a group of people created a image(s) of the last of any mythical creature leaving the world forever. Leaving the world they once called home.
